I’m offering a new way to enjoy my artworks. I’m working with a master printer, Mark Allen, making Contour relief printing artwork on wood panels with a high quality 10 color UV ink printer. Contour relief printing uses layered ink and varnish to create textured, three-dimensional effects that are both visually and tactilely dynamic. UV-curable inks dry instantly when exposed to ultraviolet light, forming a durable, polymer-based layer that sits on top of the substrate instead of soaking into it. This creates a high-resolution, scratch-resistant, and water-resistant surface. The technique can create a physical, raised texture that adds a unique feel and aesthetic depth to the printed image.
